We understand that your trust in us is the most important asset of La Fédération des Restos du Cœur de Belgique [Federation of Soup Kitchens of Belgium] (abbreviated as RESTOS DU CŒUR). This Policy contains inter alia information about the personal data that the Fédération des Restos du Cœur de Belgique collects, as well as the manner in which it processes such personal data.

3.3 Online donation

You can make a one-off or recurring donation directly on our website.

To this end, we may collect the following identification data:

  • Surname and forename;
  • Means of payment;
  • Bank card number;
  • PayPal account information;
  • Amount paid;
  • Any personal data you may provide via the "Free communication" tab.

You can also make your donation via a Direct Debit Form.

To this end, we may collect the following identification data:

  • Name of debtor;
  • Form of address;
  • Postal address;
  • Telephone number;
  • E-mail address;
  • IBAN;
  • BIC;
  • Amount to be debited;
  • Date and place;
  • Signature of debtor.

You can use our website to donate foodstuffs.

To this end, we may collect the following identification data:

  • Any personal data you may provide via the "Free communication" tab.

3.5 Fundraising via the social media

You can organise a fundraising event for RESTOS DU CŒUR on Facebook directly from our website.

4. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR DATA?

The RESTOS DU CŒUR store all personal Data collected on their internal server and on the servers of our partners with whom we have contractual links.

11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY CLAUSE

The liability of the RESTOS DU CŒUR shall be limited to direct damage, to the exclusion of any indirect damage. The RESTOS DU CŒUR may at no time be held liable for damages deemed to be indirect such as, but not limited to, loss of Data, financial or commercial loss, loss of earnings, increase in overheads, disruption of planning.

12. APPLICABLE LAW AND COMPETENT JURISDICTION

These provisions shall be governed by, interpreted and enforced in accordance with Belgian law, which shall be the sole applicable law in the event of a dispute.

Any dispute which cannot be settled amicably within one month as of the date of its occurrence, a period which incidentally may be extended by mutual agreement, may be referred by the first party to take action to the French-language Courts and Tribunals of the judicial district of Namur, which shall have sole jurisdiction.

This policy was created and entered into force on 16.06.2023.

The La Fédération des RESTOS DU COEUR reserves the right to update this Policy by posting a new version on the website. It is therefore particularly recommended that you consult regularly the website and the relevant page on which the Charter is posted so as to keep abreast of any changes.
