Annual Food Drive - Let’s mobilise together!

March 2025

In 2024, the Restos du Cœur of Belgium distributed 1,631,189 meals – a number that continues to rise. But in the face of skyrocketing demand, our reserves are dwindling dangerously.

Although we benefit from the support of unsold food from our partners, it is no longer enough. To make up for this shortfall, we had to purchase 141,810 kilos of goods—three times more than in 2023. This significant expenditure jeopardises our ability to help the most vulnerable. That is why your support during the Annual Food Drive is essential!

A simple gesture for a great cause

Our annual online Food Drive has been open for a few days now. On Friday and Saturday, 7 and 8 March, our teams will be waiting for you in 26 major supermarkets to collect your donations and replenish our stocks.

Our goal is to collect non-perishable products, hygiene items for adults and babies, as well as household cleaning products to support those in precarious situations.

If you live or find yourself near one of our collection points, come and join us in our effort: Collection Points7 and 8 March 2025

  4. Drop them off at the stand of the Restos du Cœur after you’ve checked out.

Every contribution counts! Even a small gesture can make a big difference. Thanks to you, we can provide food support to those who need it most.

Not available on those days? You can still help!

The Restos du Cœur of Belgium work daily to build a world where everyone has access to a meal and essential support. By making a bequest, you enable the organisation to continue its mission sustainably, providing vital assistance to those in need.

As Marc highlights, leaving a bequest to a good cause makes it possible to contribute to a better future, not only for loved ones but for society as a whole: “Knowing that there are so many organisations truly worth collaborating with. Give them these opportunities, give them these chances.”

Passing on Values Through a Bequest

If you can’t make it to the store, our online Food Drive will remain open until the end of the month. Every donation, whether material or financial, helps us continue to pursue our mission.

❤️ Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your generosity! ❤️
